So it turns out the Tin Man does have a heart. A heart and a keen sense of perception lol....
The Wizard is absolutely crazy and must be left to sell woof tickets to whoever will accept them. I can no longer be a part of the crazy idea to find him. When you think about it, in the movie, the Wizard didn't really have answers anyway. All the answers were inside of the individual characters in some way or another.
In a couple of weeks, I begin cosmetology school. A dream come true and also a means of anxiety. A dream come true because I've always wanted to do hair. To be a part of that environment where all the laughing and talking occurs, people just enjoying each other's company, some who love their hair and others hate what the stylist has done lol. But I'm anxious for it to start and anxious because I have always pursued more book knowledge than practical knowledge, in a school sense. I was always thought to be the "intellectual" and my sister "the creative one."
But it is also refreshing to be stepping out into this new year, being myself and doing what I want to do. It feels like the first day of real school and watching my soon to be husband walk up to the venue to marry me. Scary, and yet thrilling at the same time lol...It feels like my life somehow veered onto the right path again.
So fuck the Wizard, god bless the Tin Man and everyone have a great year.
